Join Chaos Group at Simply Rhino’s Shape to Fabrication, at Stratford Circus Arts Centre in London on April 24 – 25. Attendees will see how Rhino, Grasshopper and V-Ray are used behind the scenes in projects, including Galaxia, Arthur Mamou-Mani’s dramatic centerpiece for this year’s Burning Man Festival. And Konstantin Gaytandzhiev, Chaos Group’s head of AEC product development, will take to the stage to talk about the latest version of V-Ray for Rhino – and what’s next for the product.
At FMX this year, we’ll host a V-Ray Day in the Mannheim Room on April 25. Cube Creative, RealtimeUK and PIXOMONDO will demonstrate how they use V-Ray for TV, games and our education team will launch an exciting competition with HP Mars Home Planet.

Midwest University has established itself as one of North America’s largest professional development conferences focused on the AEC industry. The producers of 3D World, 3D Artist, and Creative Bloq present a brand new one-day event for the CG community — and Chaos Group is getting involved. Chris Nichols, our CG Labs guru, will present a keynote speech on digital humans at 9.40 AM.
As well as checking out presentations, attendees can take part in portfolio reviews, workshops and “ask an artist” sessions. And there’ll be a chance to find a job and make important contacts at the recruitment fair and networking evening.

For his presentation titled After Render, architect and IED professor Oriol Carrasco will demonstrate how V-Ray 3.6 for Rhino, V-Ray Swarm and VRscans work seamlessly with Rhino to create amazing imagery.
It is always in December and we always come to the CG Event loaded with a year-load of news and presentations. Since recently we started another tradition - bringing along some of the most eagerly expected Main Stage speakers. This year we held on to a special surprise to the last - Pixomondo's Max Riess will draw on his huge experience as matte painter, compositor and VFX supervisor to bring everyone into the creation process of complex shots for Game of Thrones, The Fate of the Furious, Wonder Woman and other projects.
Yet we will not stop there, bringing Adam Hotovy onstage along CG Specialist Kalina Panteleeva for V-Ray:Next - our favourite way of sharing groundbreaking news with the CG Event attendees. And several of them - announced for the first time in the world. Finally, Kalina will finally host in Moscow her V-Ray GPU-focused masterclass, which premiered at CG Event Piter.

On November 23, Chaos Group will visit Belgrade, Serbia, for an exciting day of V-Ray-related presentations and activities.
In the morning, we’ll cover V-Ray for arch viz, including the newest features of V-Ray for SketchUp and V-Ray for Revit. We’ll finish up just before lunch with a masterclass in V-Ray for 3ds Max.
From 2pm, we’ll delve into V-Ray for VFX, including V-Ray for Maya, and an overview of Phoenix, our fluid dynamics software. Guest presenter Djordje Ilic will demonstrate how he used VRscans and 3ds Max for his stunning Porsche project, and we’ll close the day with some well-deserved cocktails.

We’ve become a staple of distributor Bluegfx’s annual expo — and this year we’re bringing along an impressive lineup. Prime Focus World’s Sean Feeney will talk about bringing toys to life via V-Ray for fully CG TV show LEGO Chima. After the presentation, you can pitch questions to Prime Focus World’s Creative Head John Harvey.
Chaos Group’s CG specialist Atanas Tudzharov will also demonstrate the complex scenes Maya and V-Ray 3.6 for Maya are capable of creating, making use of optimized geometry, proxy objects, the denoiser and render elements.
