Johannes started his career in architectural design before joining the field of architectural visualization a decade ago, during which he played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the Berlin studio of an international agency. His efforts have broadened narrativ’s client base across oceans, borders, and industries. Johannes is the tallest and oldest member of the team, at least on paper, and known for his deep voice. He thrives on challenges and has a strong aversion to boredom. An enthusiast of gardening, Johannes grows various plants, some of which make it to his plate. When he’s not in the garden, he’s either attending live music shows, running or sailing the high seas.
Born in Berlin and raised in Heidenheim, Oliver Kentner combines a passion for art and engineering. With a Dipl. Ing. in Packaging Technology and an M.Sc. in Packaging Design & Marketing, he founded Olika3D in 2007. As a 3D generalist with over 15 years of experience, Oliver has created stunning CGI for clients like Carl Zeiss, Red Bull, and The Ocean Cleanup. A skateboarder at heart, he loves to blend creativity with technical precision.
Cornelius Dämmrich is a digital artist from Cologne, known for his meticulous and ambitious personal still image projects, which often take several months to complete. He has collaborated with prominent clients such as NASA, Atlantic Records and Grimlore Games. His work is frequently featured in various publications, highlighting his significant contributions to the field. Aside from his professional pursuits, Cornelius is an avid video game enthusiast who loves old school point and click adventures and RPGs. For a short period of time he held the speed running world record for Monkey Island 3.
Known as Viz.Guru online, Johannes has somehow fooled companies like IKEA, Electrolux, Lotus Cars, Logitech and almost even Apple Industrial Design into thinking he knows what he’s doing (but they called his bluff the very last moment and kicked him out of the campus). By being invited to speak at this event, even Chaos was added to the list.
Whether it’s archviz, automotive, or product visualization, Johannes creates magic, then promptly insists it’s awful. He hates to receive compliments for his work because he lacks the social skill to deal with it. On his free time he mostly stares into the wall, dreaming of a nomadic life wherever the sun sets over beaches and palm trees, and to cuddle with unicorn pigs. Because they do exist!
Peter holds a Master's in Architecture, but due to a short attention span, CG-spaces seemed to be a more suitable career path. He founded xoio in 2006 as an architectural illustration company and teamed up with Bettina to keep xoio alive and kicking until today. Lately, Peter rediscovered traditional media again so you might find him feverishly scribbling in his sketchbook envisioning some useless sci-fi machinery.
Anastasia is a 3D artist and has been with Chaos for 6 years. She got a masters degree in Architecture from UACEG and since then became passionate about 3D. At Chaos she now creates architectural visualizations, different types of video, and learning content.
