Anima’s rendering is handled by your DCC plugin of choice. It seamlessly integrates with leading rendering tools, including V-Ray, Corona, Vantage, Redshift, Octane, and FStorm. All anima 3D models have consistent quality and render correctly with native materials, accurate light interaction, and realistic motion blur.
Designed for human movement
Control is the key to great animations. Anima ALL makes it easy to customize movements and the motion of crowds by providing a complete animation solution that integrates with popular content creation platforms and rendering software.
Two simple workflows allow you to add realistic looking and moving humans to your scenes very quickly. The first is similar to the Chaos Cosmos Browser, allowing you to drag and drop 3D people from the anima plugin directly onto the DCC scene.
Alternatively, you can go big. Anima’s real-time companion view connects with the DCC tool through a solid live linking, similar to the way Vantage works. This enables users to keep scenes, collision geometries, and cameras automatically synchronized in real time for a simple workflow, and highly customizable control of crowd simulations and character placement.
Once you match the background in anima and the DCC app, you can easily create socializing paths and areas where neural crowds automatically start moving and avoiding obstacles. The path adapts to the scene, so your characters won’t be stumped by stairs, ramps, or escalators.
Anima leverages instancing, which keeps models in your system’s memory as you repeat them, making massive crowd animations extremely efficient. And because anima automatically randomizes characters’ clothing, it’s easy to achieve variety.
Unlimited access to thousands of render-ready 3D people
Anima features over 3,000 diverse 3D and 4D people assets that can walk, run, and move up and down stairs, giving architectural visualizations an unmatched competitive edge, and telling stories with lifelike quality.
While 3D posed models are perfect for static visualizations, 3D ambient and rigged models are the best choice for the background of your animations. Because of their lifelike appearance and movements, the 4D people models are better suited to the foreground of any design.
4D people are the hallmark of what anima is known for; they are so real that they look just like video captures. Besides adding an unmatched level of depth and authenticity to architectural visualizations, 4D humans use less data than alternatives.
The combination of motion capture and advanced post-processing technology reduces 5 GB of captured data to 200-400 MB while preserving the level of detail of the source animated mesh and textures. Their superior performance is down to how they interact with any light, cast shadows, and move in any environment.
Suitable for static and dynamic visualizations, anima will convert and optimize all 3D people models you add, including third-party models with biped skeletons and a skin modifier applied to their meshes to animate them. You can import these models into anima in FBX format.
Alternative solutions cannot match the capabilities of the native anima 4D format file, especially when it comes to geometry and texture optimization, physically accurate motion blur effect, and real-time performance.
