Description
My Morning Jacket are back with their highly anticipated second album, simply titled "Z".
This time out, the five piece band from Louisville, Kentucky takes their already distinctive sound in a new direction. Instead of recording in the country outside Louisville as has been their custom, they travelled to upstate New York's Allaire Studios to work with renowned producer John Leckie (Radiohead, Stone Roses, The Posies).
"Z" is a richly varied 10 song collection encompassing carefully wrought ballads, multi-genre jams, country soul and high energy rock. My Morning Jacket has developed a reputation as one of today's most exciting new rock acts to emerge from mid-America in the past few years.
