Description
The history speaks for itself. The stage name of self taught songwriter Declan MacManus, Elvis Costello has been performing since 1969 and began his recording career in 1977 with the making of the album 'My Aim Is True'. Since then, he has made more than a dozen albums, as a solo artist and with the group, The Attractions.
His latest offering 'When I Was Cruel' is a startling and beautifullly constructed album - from the opening chords of the rocking 'Tear Of Your Own Head', to the touching 'Alibi', Elvis remains true to form, and proves that he really is king!
