Description
Rarely do promising Australian hardcore bands get to mature into themselves and release a justification of the potential that gets hyped up around them. Adelaides I Killed The Prom Queen have definitely grown into their Vans on this occasion. Brutal melodic metalcore suitable as a soundtrack to lust killings, with snippets of Emo and rock thrown in so one can think clearly whilst hiding the evidence. Only let down being the strange fascination the city of churches has with adding sometimes contrived nu-metalesque melodic vocals to their acts via guitarists, perhaps this irk is just my east coast pretension shining through. Nevertheless an outstanding release.
