Description
Bernard Fanning is set to support Australian charity Youngcare with the release of Watch Over Me the only commercial single from his four-times platinum album Tea & Sympathy.
On April 9 2006, "60 Minutes" aired an interview with Brisbane couple David and Shevaune Conry about Youngcare, a charity that David set up in a desperate effort to create an appropriate care facility for Shevaune, who suffers from MS and at the age of just thirty-three requires full time care. The story included an interview with the couple's mate Bernard Fanning and made mention of a fundraising concert. That concert, the Youngcare Benefit Concert featuring Bernard and Kasey Chambers, will take place at Brisbane's City Hall on June 23.
The single includes the previously unreleased track 'For You & I' and a live version of 'Not Finished Yet'. From this single, all net profits / royalties from Bernard Fanning, Universal Music Australia, Dew Process and BMG Publishing will be donated to Youngcare.
