Description

An overview of Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes' radio hits, including the Sharon Paige pairings "Hope That We Can Get Together Soon" and "You Know How to Make Me Feel So Good," and some popular album cuts. Only an update of "Do It Any Way You Wanna" (popularized by People's Choice) is out of character with the rest of the tunes, but the vault-freed track is a welcomed surprise. Only the first parts of "Bad Luck," "The Love I Lost," and "Wake Up Everybody" are included -- very aggravating to people who don't like their soul stepped on. To shorten "Be for Real" by ten seconds is blasphemy; to shave it down to three minutes and 24 seconds is cruel and unusual editing.
