Description
France's Gipsy Kings return with 'Volare! : The Very Best Of'. This double CD contains 38 of the very best of the Gipsy Kings, primarily of traditional material performed in their unique style, though with a few notable exceptions, including the reggae-styled 'Escucha Me', a rendition of Disney's Pinocchio song 'I've Got No Strings', and a flamenco adaptation of the Eagles' 'Hotel California', almost entirely in Spanish. Disc one contains all the well known up tempo tracks, with disc two containing all the ballads. With sales of nearly 370,000 in Australia alone, the Gipsy Kings are one of the most popular group of Flamenco music in Australia.
