A member of the Country Music Hall Of Fame, singer-songwriter
Jim Reeves rose to fame in the 1950s and 60s by pioneering what became known as the 'Nashville Sound.' Tragically killed at only 40 in a plane crash, Reeves continued to sell high volumes of records after his death, particularly around the Indian Subcontinent, and is the most popular English language artist of all time in Sri Lanka. Reeves also recorded several albums in Afrikaans.
