Description
Echo & the Bunnymen's dark, swirling fusion of gloomy post-punk and Doors-inspired psychedelia brought the group a handful of British hits and highly successful albums in the early '80s, while attracting a cult following. “The Cutter” was their first Top 10 hit in 1983, followed by “The Killing Moon” a year later. Although only a Top 30 entry, “People Are Strange” captured the morbid essence of the band and was released again three years later. With a career spanning more than twenty years, Echo & The Bunnymen now enjoy legendary status both as a cult band with the younger generations and with those who remember them from the first time round.
