Second album from anonymous UK producer BURIAL, widely considered the most groundbreaking artist in the exploding dubstep scene.

A new record of weird soul music, which lovingly processes spectral female voices into vaporised R&B and smudged 2 step garage. Vocal lines are blurred, smeared, pitched up, pitched down and pitch-bent until their content is cast adrift from their original context and they whisper their saccharin sweet nothings into the void. The album continues along the path of the debut's crackle-drenched yearning and bustling rhythmic intricacies, haunted by the ghosts of rave, but also reveals some new BURIAL treats with a more glowing, upbeat energy.

BURIAL's self titled 2006 debut is considered the pinnacle of this new UK musical movement. Uniquely sparse, haunting and evocative, it was named album of the year by tastemaking magazine WIRE and roundly praised in electronic music circles. With a strong emphasis on sound quality and bottom end, dubstep fans do not settle for low bitrate mp3 bootlegs of their favourite music.

The leading lights of the dubstep movement have toured Australia in the past year, including SKREAM and Hyperdub label owner and Burial champion KODE 9. Forthcoming tours from DJ PINCH and VEX'D will ensure interest remains high in this tight knit scene.
