1987, Rick Astley released ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’, which spent five weeks at the top of
the British Charts, making it the years biggest selling single. Since then Rick has released
amazing tracks such as ‘When I Fall In Love’, ‘Together Forever’ and ‘Cry For Help.’
Last year a US radio station started a craze called ‘Rick Roll’. This basically involved them
playing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ when people called up requesting a track. This took
America by storm and since then thousands of people have been ‘Rick Rolled’ in a variety of
different way.
