SPENCER, DON

Don Spencer is an absolute legend of children's entertainment. A host of Play School for 17 years, Don has written and recorded dozens of gold and platinum children's albums including 'Feathers Fur or Fins', 'Don Spencer's Australian Animal Songs' and 'Don Spencer's Australia for Kids'. Don was one of the pioneers of children's music in Australia. Don Spencer is the founder of The Australian Children's Music Foundation. The ACMF is a foundation dedicated to improving the emotional and mental well being of all children using the power of music to inspire and enrich their lives. In particular, the ACMF works to provide programs to disadvantaged children who would otherwise not have an opportunity to be engaged through music. The ACMF provides free musical instruments and tuition to disadvantaged and indigenous children throughout Australia.
