Description
In 1996, Mos Def emerged as a solo artist working with De La Soul and da Bush Babees, before releasing his solo debut, Black on Both Sides in 1999. After the collapse of Rawkus, he signed on to Geffen Records, and released his second solo album, The New Danger in 2004. His new album True Magic is the follow up to the 2004 release. Mos Def is an Emmy Nominee and co stars in the movie 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis.
