UK combo THE GO! TEAM unleash their anticipated debut 'THUNDER, LIGHTNING, STRIKE' following the support for the singles 'Junior Kickstart' and 'Ladyflash'.

What does it sound like to us? How about kids who spent plenty of time skiving off from school watching The Rockford Files and Streets Of San Francisco and rightly thinking that the music was the coolest in the world, and then forming a band to play it live. Throw in the theme from 'Snoopy', conjure up an image of a double dutch skipping contest at a 70s block party in NY City on a sweltering summer day (like that scene in the opening credits of Sesame Street) and you're getting there. The Avalanches is an act that has regularly come up when trying to describe The Go! Team, but that only scratches the surface.
