Description
In the heart of the Australian outback lies Ayers Rock, one of the greatest natural monoliths on earth. On a freezing cold night in August 1980 a baby disappeared at the camping ground by Ayers Rock. Lindy Chamberlain saw a dingo running from her tent her nine week old baby, Azaria, in its jaws.
As she screamed for help and hundreds of ordinary people responded to the call and began a frantic, desperate search, the most unbelievable story of a conspiracy by a government, its police force, judiciary and others against a grieving housewife and mother was suddenly beginning.
"Through My Eyes" tells of the eyewitnesses, who were subjected to an aggressive and disbelieving police force as they stuck to their storiesthat a dingo took Azaria. It tells of the rangers at the Rock, who knew full well of the dangers of the dingo. It also tells the story of how bad science brought to the courts by so-called "experts" can actually send an innocent person to jail.
