Tenacious D is actors Jack Black (Hi Fidelity, Shallow Hal) and Kyle Gass, a cult sensation in the USA,”The D” was born on a short-lived HBO series in 1998 – which gained influential fans in the music industry with it’s over-the-top parody of two wannabe musicians trying to make it on the Los Angeles open mic circuit.

“The D” have exploded in the last year – selling over 400 000 albums and touring with Weezer and Kid Rock, opening for Pearl Jam and selling out their own headline tour.
