Description
Recorded at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios in the UK by
Tchad Blake (Crowded House, Pearl Jam, Gomez), Tea & Sympathy sees Bernard crossing the country-rock bridge with what he describes as a 'porch record'.
The bulk of Tea & Sympathy was written by Bernard at his Brisbane residence over the last twelve months and features Melbourne multi-instrumentalist John Bedggood, who Bernard first met when they worked together on the 'Ned Kelly' film. Bernard co-produced the fourteen tracks featured on Tea & Sympathy and as well as singing he played guitar, keyboards, harmonica and percussion.
