Description
This is the debut solo record from Glen Hansard, front man of the Frames. It was recorded and mixed in Prague early this year. The songs are far more stripped back than the frames but equally as beautiful and heart-wrenching.
Many of these songs are to be featured in two upcoming feature films 'Once' and 'Beauty In Trouble'. The songs blend themselves perfectly to film with deep strings and lots of space.
The Frames are massively popular in Australia, having toured here on a number of occasions. They have played major festivals in this country including the Blues Fest and Falls.
The Frames last album "Burn The Maps" went to #1 in Ireland and has sold 200,000 worldwide. The Frames are currently recording a new album set for release early in 2007.
