A contemporary of Bob Dylan, Fred Neil, Tim Hardin etc - all of whose songs Anderson revisits here - Anderson has released a series of hugely acclaimed albums on Appleseed in recent years. This album, which features production and arrangements from multi-instrumentalist Robert Aaron (whose usual gig is leading Wyclef's band), and substantial contributions from WYCLEF JEAN himself, is a stone classic.
