Prior to heading to Wales to record their second album in two years, Starky had parted ways with their long time guitar player, forcing Beau to take up the responsibility of writing and playing all second guitar parts himself. In doing so, the band's sound naturally shifted a little more towards their pop sensibilities. This shift to a three piece, the relaxed surrounds of Wales and a head-full of great songs encouraged the band to approach recording in a new re-energised way.

The band completed most of the record in Wales then they headed to London, to Pink Floyd's old studio Britannia Row and via Dave Gilmour's guitar amp they fined tuned and mixed their second long player.

The album contains the tracks Hey Bang Bang and Is This How It Ends.
