What a year for Dizzee Rascal shocking out at South By Southwest, and at a series of explosive North American gigs with The Streets. opening for Jay-Z at Wembley drafted in to join the all-star line-up of Pharell Williams and Justin Timberlake for Lapdance at the N*E*R*D gig in London and a brilliant show at All Tomorrows Parties.

Plus his 2003 debut album Boy In Da Corner introduced the world to a whole new sound. Whether you call it Grime Eski or a mutation of two step and UK Garage, it set the music world talking, the freshest sound to come straight off the streets in years.

In the UK he was rewarded with 250,000 sales and the Mercury Music Prize.
