FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS

"Scooby Snacks" is a 2003 mid-line compilation from Disky, released just a year after the group's first official compilation, Bag of Hits. While that collection remains the superior overview, this is pretty good, weighing in at a generous 14 tracks (Bag of Hits was 15) and having a fairly representative cross-section of hits, including "Scooby Snacks" and "The Fun Lovin' Criminals." Not everything of note is here -- inexplicably, "King of New York" has been left off along with a couple other notable singles and album tracks -- but it's representative and, if found at a reasonable price, a good bargain for casual fans. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, AMG
