Following the incredible success of "Vuelve", with close to five million albums sold worldwide, Ricky Martin is set to release his first English-language album entitled "Ricky Martin". Ricky Martin is fast emerging as the biggest 'new' star in the music world. Even though Ricky has recorded numerous albums, it was last year's smash hit, "The Cup Of Life" : the official song of the 1998 World Cup : that escalated him to international pop star status. His performance of that song at the World Cup final in France was viewed by a worldwide TV audience of over two billion! The self titled album includes collaborations with longtime writing/production partners Robi Rosa and Demond Child, plus Diane Warren, Emilio Estefan, Walter A. and Jon Secada. The album features both the English and Spanish versions of the current single "Livin' La Vida Loca", plus the #1 singles, "Maria" and "The Cup Of Life" and a duet with Madonna.
