Their 5th album 'The Resistance', released on September 14th 2009, typifies the immense operatic sci-fi sound that has gained the band worldwide praise. Self-produced and created in an underground bunker in Matt Bellamy’s home town of Lake Como Italy, the album contains songs about love and the desire for political change.
