Ex Westlife sensation Brian McFadden is to release his debut solo single ‘Real To Me’ in Australia in February 2005. ‘Real To Me’ is the first single to be taken from Brian McFadden’s eagerly anticipated debut solo album.

Written by Brian in collaboration with Guy Chambers, the single recently debuted at No. 1 in the UK, Finland, Ireland, Denmark and Germany.

‘Real To Me’ is the perfect showcase for the rough-hewn, rock & roll swagger of Brian’s voice. From its lush, piano led intro to its soaring chorus, ‘Real To Me’, reveals a rare sensitivity to emotion and storytelling as well as being a testament to his own personal artistic determination.

“The whole process has been fantastic”, says Brian, “I went in with loads of ideas and concepts and it has been amazing to see it all come together. I was blessed to be in Westlife and now have this opportunity to make my own music in my own way. Basically I just really want to be an artist on my own terms making music that I am really proud of”.
