Red Riders are a four piece out of Sydney who have just been signed to Ivy League Records (June 2005).

They were signed because they write great songs (and lots of them) and are a great live band. Their prolific song writing results from the luxury of having two great and complementary singing songwriters in the band Alex writes the more angular, punky songs reminding us of the likes of the Clash where Adrian provides the more melodic rock songs drawing upon classic influences such as the Beatles, Neil Young and Dylan. Fans of Faker, End of Fashion, The Sleepy Jackson, The Cops, Franz Ferdinand, The Libertines, Kaiser Chiefs, The Clash, The Strokes will also like Red Riders.

To date, the band have released one EP independently, heightening the band's live profile - shifting them to headline status and selling out venues in Sydney. Their profile was enhanced further after ain support slots along the east coast with Franz Ferdinand, Sahara Hotnights, Youth Group, The Shins and The Cops.

'The Plan A' sees the Red Riders song writing take another leap forward with the opening blast of 'Mouthful O' Riot' right through to the end, this five track EP is sure to prick up ears from all corners of the country and beyond.
