The compositions are specifically for piano and the recording process captures a live sound with some of the pieces being a little quirky in nature. “Helene” the seventh track has an interesting history being written for an English Theatre in Hamburg’s production of “84 Charing Cross Road”, the Theatre Company commissioned Steven to compose the music for the play, whilst he was living and working in Europe.
