Theredsunband are a 3 piece from Sydney consisting of John Matthews (drums - backing vocals) and sisters Sarah Kelly (vocals and guitar) and Lizzy Kelly (organ, tambourine and backing vocals). Musically, theredsunband are influenced by PJ harvey, the velvet underground, the dandy warhols, bob dylan, mazzy star, the pixies, veruca salt, cat stevens, cat power, air & the beatles.

Theredsunband's debut, Peapod, is like everything and nothing you've ever heard, distilling a potent concoction of folk and roots, slacker, gen-x, pure pop and country into a sound that's unparalleled in Australia today.
