This is an excellent compilation from a man who has recorded under more pseudonyms than the perpetrator of a credit card scam. On PASSPORT, Can "Khan" Oral plows through more musical styles than you'd care to imagine, all the while keeping your body moving. Though it wouldn't be entirely accurate to lump Khan in with the IDM movement (Autechre, Aphex, et al), this stuff brings about the same kind of satisfaction. So call it techno, if you must. It's listenable; it's danceable; it's fun; and its freedom and playfulness are infectious.
