Hosted by Sir Georg Solti and Hollywood star Dudley Moore, Orchestra! is the landmark Channel 4 TV series from 1991, introducing the modern symphony orchestra.

The 2-DVD set traces the development of the orchestra from the time of Bach and Handel to the present day. It includes all eight programmes originally broadcast on Channel 4:

Featuring young musicians from around the world, this is an entertaining and educational celebration of the orchestra. It also includes a documentary of 'The Making of Orchestra' and a bonus CD of music from the TV series, from Handel to Lutoslawski.
