Five young classically trained opera singers from around the globe have joined forces and voices to form the world's first opera band. Amici Forever is a unique musical blend of contemporary pop and traditional opera and with their debut album, The Opera Band.
Australia's first taste of Amici Forever Forever, 'Senza Catene' is an Italian version of the timeless classic 'Unchained Melody' and is sure to strike a chord with opera lovers and contemporary music fans alike.
The album gives works like 'Nessun Dorma' from Puccini's 'Turandot' and 'Soave Sia Il Vento' from Mozart's 'Cosi Fan Tutte' a contemporary touch. It also has new versions of the television theme 'Band Of Brothers', the pop classic 'Unchained Melody', sung in Italian, along with 'Prayer In The Night', a song based on Handel's 'Sarabande'.
