Description
Arkwright (Ronnie Barker) is a tight-fisted corner shopkeeper who sells everything from bananas to bootlaces. His passion for Gladys, the district nurse, comes second only to his passion for money. His underpaid and overworked nephew Granville (David Jason) dreams of another life beyond the constant clang of the shop bell.
