NOCTURNAL's 10 tracks whiz by in a powerful display of fleet-fingered axe-wielding from Brian Eschbach and John Kempainen, with the new rhythm section of Bart Williams and Shannon Lucas more than holding up their end of the bargain. Despite the dark imagery, shrieked and growled vocals, and unrelenting warp speed crunch, these guys sound like they're having a ton of fun doing this, and it comes through in the music.
