Yvan, a Parisian journalist is somewhat overshadowed by his famous wife, Charlotte. Her fame makes it difficult to live his normal life. He can grudgingly handle the looks in the street and the autograph hunters, and has generously taken her pride in his stride, until a man in a bar asks him if he feels jealous watching his wife make love to another man on screen. Now the seed has been planted... His nagging insecurity is encouraged by acquaintances, who tell him how sexy his wife looks! And it comes to a head when Charlotte goes to London for a film about the affair between an air-hostess and a handsome pilot played by a screen idol, John (Stamp).What follows is a comedy of errors..It's nice to see a romantic comedy in which the falling-in-love part has been dispatched by the opening credits. It leaves more time for the falling-on-your-face parts, which are far more delicious!
