When nine-year-old Mac’s father cancels a much-anticipated trip to Disney World, the young boy is more than disappointed. Instead, Mac is invited to accompany his father, who works in the oil industry, to a lake in the wilderness. Once there, Mac meets an amazing water-born creature named Mee-She. As the two grow close, it becomes Mac’s responsibility to protect his new friend from the oil-drillers who want to destroy the only home Mee-She has ever known.
