Mademoiselle Gorilla is different to the rest of her family. They may tumble and whoop, and eat bananas, but she is a sensitive soul - she is a poet. Feeling forlorn and unappreciated, Mademoiselle Gorilla decides to go to New York where fame and fortune await her. But, being the "next big thing" isn't everything, and Mademoiselle Gorilla's sensitive soul soon begins to yearn for her family, and the tumble and whoop of the jungle.
