On the evening of December 7, 1998 a host of stars turned out for a spectacular 50th Anniversary tribute to one of the best loved and most influential singers of our time, Mr. Tony Bennett. Dubbed "An All-Star Tribute, the event was broadcast live on A&E Network from Sony Music Studios in New York City, and comprised the 10th instalment of Live By Request, the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning live music series created by Mr. Bennett in 1996.
