In the past five years, Hawaiian born Jack Johnson has gone from filmmaker, shooting and scoring his 16mm surf films to a well-known singer-songwriter, and now just in time for summer, Australia’s favourite imported son Jack Johnson releases a new UMD (for PSP) Live At The Greek featuring a live concert (Live at the Berkeley) and bonus footage. Shot entirely on 16mm film and directed by The Malloys on location at the historical Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA. over two sold out nights - the film covers Jack’s live show and includes interviews with Jack and his band. It also documents the opening acts, ALO (animal liberation orchestra) and Matt Costa, plus interviews from Money Mark and G.Love. The film takes you from the quiet moments of Jack talking about his music and celebrates his live show to a sold-out crowd performing songs from all three of his records and some covers
