Just on four years since the death of Jeff Buckley his memory lives strong and fans demand to hear more of the many live performances in existence. This live album was initiated by Sony France, who believe they have a beautiful recording of one particular French concert from 1995. (see producer's notes below for recording and production details). France is the #1 territory for Jeff Buckley's album releases and was a market that Jeff toured constantly. Australia ranks closely behind France, and for this reason, Sony Australia was given permission to release this French recording. Every Jeff Buckley performance was a unique event. Those fans who witnessed Jeff live will stand by that claim. The fans who own last year's Mystery White Boy live recording will know that on this live Olympia recording, they will hear a unique performance from Jeff. Containing many of the 'hits' from Grace, live favourites, and covers (some here on CD for the first time, some old), Live At La Olympia is a stunning recording to add to the collection of Jeff's fans.
