Damn Arms present their debut release "The Live Artex". The Melbourne band's international reputation has been built on the UK release of the Patterns Ep followed by successful round of UK & European touring.

Back on the Australian circuit, Damn Arms played with THE KILLS [UK], MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS, WE ARE SCIENTISTS [USA], LIARS [USA], THE BLOOD ARM [USA], THE ROGERS SISTERS [USA], WHIRLWIND HEAT [USA], SPANKROCK [USA] and others.

Although beautifully produced by Nick Littlemore from PNAU, The Live Artex still needed a little polish. So it went off to mixer Kevin "The Caveman" Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Silverchair) and it came back sounding bigger, better and at least on a few tracks, even more sinister than before. The songs bristled with edgy, late-night menace. Damn Arms had never heard themselves sound so good.
