Description
A drama/comedy about the changing values of two generations set in the LA 'Artists' Colony' of Laurel Canyon.
The unstoppable Frances McDormand delivers another perfectly etched performance as an LA record producer dealing with her conservative son (Christian Bale) and his girlfriend (Kate Beckinsale) who have trouble adjusting to mum's wild ways when they move back to the west coast and into her Laurel Canyone home.
