Description
Straight outta the grey and windy streets of north Richmond comes Dan Kelly and the Alpha Males with a brand new PIRATE RADIO EP transmitting tales of politics, new age cynicism, weeping willows and faded new rock dreams played, scraped and clanged along to on a bevy of acoustic instruments and found household objects. Kelly, tired of his mantle as the new Steve Miller, has morphed into a new role somewhere between an antichrist Jack Johnson and Ted Mulry's hippie cousin. Featuring a
duet with the mysterious J. Walker of Machine Translations, a Kinks Kover and a scintillating saxophone solo from the Drones Gareth Liddiard as well as reams of gratuitous language from Dan and his merry A.Ms, this Ep will soothe, titillate and bemuse as it dashes along the fenceline of good taste and disappears into the drainpipe of Australia's consciousness.
