October saw the releases' of Ed Kuepper and the Kowalski Collective's Jean Lee and the Yellow Dog, his first album of all new material since 2001's 'Smile… Pacific'.
The album was recorded and produced by Kuepper at his own Everest Royal Sound Recorders studio and was inspired by the story of Jean Lee, the last woman hanged in Australia. It features performances by, amongst others, Jeffery Wegener (Laughing Clowns), Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys), Warren Ellis (Dirty Three) and Chris Bailey (The Saints).
