In 1981, by melding the soul revival elements of their sound with Irish folk, they became a household name with the ever popular ‘Come On Eileen’ – a #1 hit in both the UK and the US. 1985 brought the critically acclaimed album ‘Don’t Stand Me Down’, now recognised as an all-time classic. Eighteen years later Dexy’s Midnight Runners reformed and played to a sell-out crowd at the Liverpool Royal Theatre Court. This is the DVD of that performance.
