It’s been 2 years since the last Editors CD, ‘An End Has A Start’ and the band are back with a slight change in sound that’s rawer and more anthemic than ever. The album is produced by the highly respected producer Flood who has previously worked with U2, Depeche Mode, Sigur Ros, Nine Inch Nails and Smashing Pumpkins to name a few, and his influence certainly plays a part in the development of the Editors sound.

This is one of our most requested CDs, no surprise given their last 2 albums, ‘The Back Room’ and ‘An End Has A Start’, went platinum in the UK and have an ever growing legion of fans around the globe. The first single taken from the album is the superb track ‘Papillon’ which is typical anthemic Editors, but as mentioned before, with a progression in their sound.

For those uninitiated, the Editors have a dark indie rock sound which has drawn comparisons to great bands like Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen, early REM, and more recently Interpol. Whether you are a long standing fan of the band, or just getting into them, this is a terrific record and one that’s set to move them up to the next level.
