Description
With only just a handful of releases, Australian DJ and producer, HOOK N SLING (Anthony Maniscalco) has cemented himself in the up-and-coming producers elite.
Originally a breaks producer, he has gone on to become one of the most important house producers in the world.
His biggest impact on Australia’s music scene was his remix of “He Doesn’t Love You” by rock queen SARAH MCLEOD on MINISTRY OF SOUND that went on to top the ARIA dance charts, made a serious dent in the pop charts and then a huge impact o/s getting licensed by RENAISSANCE with plays from the likes of DEEPDISH & SEB FONTAINE.
His most recent single, “The Bump” (a collaboration with KID KENOBI), has featured predominantly in the record bags of PETE TONG, JAMES ZABIELA (“my encore record at my last few gigs, and the reaction is mental. This will be massive!”), MYLO, FEDDE LE GRAND along with a Mixmag Buzz Chart No 1 placing! His tracks are appearing on some of the biggest mix CDs in the world right now.
His first mix CD on legendary UK label is a storming example of what this man is about – party rockin’, bottom heavy electro house. Alongside many of his own tracks & mixes are cuts from local producers BASS KLEPH & TOBY NEAL. This mix will rival anything any other “brand name” dance labels will release this year!
