Description
Superb British gangster film with great performances from top-notch cast including John Hurt (The Elephant Man, Alien), Terence Stamp (Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Superman II, The Limey) and Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction). Set in Spain, it follows two contract killers (Hurt and Roth) who are hired to kidnap a supergrass (Stamp) from his Spanish hide-out and deliver him to the underworld bosses he'd betrayed years before. Directed by Stephen Frears (My Beautiful Laundrette, Dangerous Liasons), this is a fantastic film described by one critic as "The best British produced thriller in years".
