Hey Bang Bang came together almost by accident. Starky were heading back into the studio to record a handful of b-sides, one of which was Hey Bang Bang, and it instantly became a favourite. Recorded in the UK by renowned producer David Eringa (Idlewild, Manic Street Preachers and Suede), Starky's new self-titled album shatters the tired mould of Australian pop-rock, delivering a record with undulating bass lines and sonic complexity, signalling a change in the bands breadth of sound and emotion.
